Rising sea temperatures are affecting the population of cold-water phytoplankton off the North Coast. They are migrating North, along with the fish that feed on them. Sea birds such as puffins which feed on these fish, are often unable to keep up with the migrating fish, and can starve to death. Read more about the findings here.
