Cape Farewell - Cape Farewell brings artists, scientists and educators together to collectively address and raise awareness about climate change.

Sun Nov 4th Day workshop: Explore and inhabit the climate adventure 

10am - 5pm, at Oxford University Centre for the Environment. Price: £5 (includes lunch and refreshments, concs available).

Understanding and responding to climate change requires an ‘explosion of creativity across society'. The day will be a chance to do just that - hear some of the latest climate science from researchers at Oxford University's Environmental Change Institute, meet artists, writers and musicians and creative types in Oxfordshire, and immerse yourself in the climate adventure. Run by artists for artists, workshops will include creative writing, music, clowning and visual arts.

All welcome, but please book in advance as places are limited.  

Weds 28th November - 'Conjuring the Heroic'  creative writing in a changing climate 

 6.30 - 9pm at Science Oxford, St Clements. A two hour creative writing workshop led by Joseph Butler, against the backdrop of the Floodscapes exhibition by local artist John Goto. Places limited to 20, £5
